Boys will be Boys
This was potentially one of my absolute FAVORITE lifestyle sessions ever. I'm still slightly overly obsessed with these pictures. Initially the goal was to simply "get through the session" and have a picture or two for a Christmas card.
I knew I could do more... Far more than that. Challenge accepted.
It was the first time meeting these boys. Right away it was clear they weren't huge fans of my big black box. Why should they be when there was so much around to explore! ?
So off we went. Taking in the perfect afternoon while I gave their sweet mama full reign to watch or simply go take in the beautiful weather in peace and quiet on the perfect little swing overlooking the creek.
One of the reasons I love this particular session SO much is because I feel like they take me back to being a kid. They reflect an authentic hour of playing in a creek, skipping rocks, drawing in the sand, getting dirty and simply having fun. You know- an everyday afternoon in the life of a child.
Best friends for life.
Be still my heart.
Yes. This... All day long!
If I had a studio this would be a giant canvas on the wall and it'd be titled, "What childhoods are made of".
This was their mama's favorite picture. Such sweet kids.
You would have thought they'd won the lottery when I suggested taking off their shoes... They were absolutely DELIGHTED!
