A beautiful celebration of love Waters Mill Wedding {Dahlonega ga}

Sunday afternoon was HOT and even that may be considered an understatement. Bright blue skies and lots of that good old Georgia humidity... thankfully there was plenty of shade at Waters Mill and we took full advantage of every area we could find. I had to laugh as the last wedding I shot at this venue was the coldest wedding we did last year... and I hope that this wedding was the hottest... because I can't imagine it getting much warmer! Whitney and Ryan have a fun and pretty unique story... she was best friends with his sister (Danielle) long before she met Danielle's brother... but once she did it still took awhile before the sparks started to fly and they were able to work through the "awkward" situation of dating your sister (or best friend's) sibling.

They rocked their engagement session so I was really excited about picking up where we left off for the wedding... Everyone was from out of town so they got cabins in Ellijay for the weekend and after climbing the mountain and barely making it to the top we were welcomed with open arms as we started shooting. The lady who has cut Whitney's hair since she was a young girl came to do her hair for the wedding and even took the shawl from her dress and hand crafted the beautiful hairpiece she wore. Her hair was Beautiful- soft romantic and absolutely perfect!
