A Laughter Filled Rainy Wedding Day | {Atlanta Four Seasons Wedding Pictures}

It was a cloudy day with gray skies and big rain clouds looming... rain had been in the forecast all week but Stephanie was all smiles when I arrived to meet her and the bridesmaids at The Four Seasons Saturday morning. I've just gotta say- I'm blessed with some of the most amazing clients and the world's best brides. Seriously. All these ladies as you'll see later braved the black cloud rapidly moving in OUR direction to finish the group pictures and then the instant the skies opened up everyone went running for cover- with smiles and laughter the day went on. Stephanie and Chad met in college then spent time apart after college and their careers took them in different directions. Less than a year after Chad's backyard christmas light proposal (he spelled out "will you marry me" in christmas lights on the backyard fence) they exchanged their vows and became husband and wife.

They've just returned from a fabulous honeymoon in Hawaii. Just months before the wedding Chad was able to relocate and find a job in Atlanta so they'll be making their new home together in the South.

Enjoy the story of their beautiful, rainy, laughter and smile filled wedding day.

Getting ready preparations began at The Four Seasons.

I just loved how the light was coming through Stephanie's gorgeous lace gown.

That's her mother's veil to the right- she wore for her first dance and the father daughter dance.

All the lovely ladies.

So just before we left for pictures Stephanie's daddy came to see her... these few moments they shared were absolutely precious. By far some of my favorite moments of the entire day.

absolutely stunning.

Meanwhile.. the guys were getting ready...

Would you guess that it's pouring rain behind her??

moments after he returned to his seat- Stephanie's dad sweetly gave her mom a kiss.

love her brother on the right.

In the newly remodeled ballroom at the Four Seasons the party was just about to begin.

Mr. and Mrs. Chad Boyea

This was one of my favorite father/daughter dances to date.

The Moxie Band kept the dance floor packed... literally PACKED all night long.
