Celebrating Love | {Today is Your day to Celebrate}

I love my job...  not for the hours on any given weekend I spend outside, or that I get to work from home during the week.  It's not because I can be my own boss and outsource the things I'm not good at while enjoying the ones I love and do well.  It's much more than that. oregon_for_the_love_workshop_0052

It's telling the story of love, creating something tangible from the intangible. Photographs that future generations will look back on and see the stories of their mothers and fathers. Like the ripe and aged love their grandfather holds for his bride who has only grown more beautiful in his eyes in the decades that have passed.

These stories reflect the smiles of joy, laughter between you and the one your soul longs for and even the sorrows you may have shared. The lasting furrows of the brow from when your love was tested, and broken down, telling the story of how the two of you discovered your love was stronger than any of the difficulties you have faced.

Documenting the beginning of these journeys fills my heart with joy, but so many times I've found... life happens and the rest of these stories are never told.

The stories of year 5 or 10 or 15 or 55.

So many times, as years pass and families grow, couples document everything important in the lives of their children, friends, and family. But what about the continuing story of the couples themselves?  Their marriage story began on their wedding day before their family and friends, but there is so much more to tell about how that love has grown deeper and stronger.  This love leaves no reason not to celebrate.

It doesn't have to be a "special anniversary". If you love "the one" more today than you did yesterday and they're still the one you'd choose to build your story with... why not celebrate simply that?

Celebrate love.

Your love.

Authentic and Real. The smiles and the sorrows- they're what makes each of our stories unique.

When is the day you set aside time to celebrate Your Story.

The good, the bad and the ugly.

You made it didn't you?

Have you ever had anyone tell that story- YOUR story?

Has it been years, even decades since you've had pictures with your one and only?

You're not alone if the last pictures you had together were those taken on your wedding day? Are you ready for this to change?

Today is a new day. Today is a day for Change.

Today is Your day to celebrate.
