Emily + Chris | Summerour Studio Wedding
She'd just started her college journey and was enjoying one of the first house parties at the University of Alabama thanks to an invitation by her "big sister". While mingling and enjoying the evening with her pledge sisters Kelsey asked her if anyone caught her eye. It turns out the guy she'd been watching all night but was too shy to approach was Kelsey's best friend! She quickly made the introduction and Chris and Emily talked the rest of the evening... they continued the conversation for the next couple of weeks and she'd hoped that his feelings for her were mutual. When he invited her to a the first football game of the season as his date it was the beginning of this love story they've shared and the one they'll continue to build for forever. Chris and Emily prepared for the day at the Embassy Suites in Buckhead and then we traveled to Summerour where their reception would be later that evening for their first look. Summerour is one of the prettiest little venues in Atlanta and when you walk into the courtyard you feel like you've suddenly crossed into another country! A special thanks to Carolyn and Nick for recommending us to Emily and her mom. They're childhood best friends and it was such an honor to celebrate with both of these brides!

I loved this picture Rachel captured of the flower girls having fun being kids.
Her dress was absolutely gorgeous and fit her perfectly. A special shout out to the ladies of Sweet Elegance Bridal!
Emily gave Chris a journal she's kept of their journey together so far filled with mementos of the games, movies, and travels they've shared together. He loved it and kept saying, "I can't believe she kept all these things!"
Her veil was handmade in Spain, it's a Spanish tradition that it's passed from one bride to the next and each of them will have their names and wedding dates cross stitched into the veil creating a very unique and special keepsake.
Her sister shared the most beautiful prayer for her sister and her future brother in law.
Their buffet looked delicious and was served and prepared by Bold American Catering.
And a special thanks to Mr. Sam for capturing this shot of me with these special ladies. The Mallow girls. Love you all!
