Chelsea and Chris | Grant Park Engagement Pictures
This duo met in Panama City Beach while on vacation. You might be wondering if they happened to be in college at the time and it was in the Spring you'd be correct on both accounts. They happened to be on that big vacation in college called Spring Break. She's from Georgia and he's from New York but his group of friends enjoyed hanging with her group and friends and that was their unofficial beginning. Long distance isn't easy and it's especially daunting if you've only known that person for a couple of days! His focus during school was football where he played for Notre Dam and so traveling in the Fall was nearly impossible for him as was finding much free time to keep up with girls. This girl was different though and thanks to her patience and persistence they continued to build on their friendship and she got to visit on his weekend off that Fall and the rest is then history.
He planned on moving South after graduation to live with his Aunt and Uncle- who just so happen to live across the street from her parents (small world right!?). She's a bulldog and bleeds red but warned me that everyone knows not to interfere with Chris and Notre Dam game days. Thankfully those two schools futures will likely never collide. :-D
When I met Chelsea she mentioned how they weren't much of "naturals in front of the camera". I assured her they'd be great and by looking at these pictures that were the result of us wandering around Grant Park.. I'd say they may still not really love the camera but they do love one another and that's surely what's most important. :-D
She can rock it.
Sassy!
I loved their outfit and the cap sleeves of her dress. So pretty!
My favorites.
Another Fav.
These two were such sports. I saw these pretty pink blooms and wanted to use them. The only problem was they were in the direct sun. It's August. It's hot and I asked them to stand in the SUN. Mean- I know. But it was for a short amount of time and I'd have to say it was worth it.
Thanks for spending your Sunday afternoon with me guys! I can't wait to see you again in September!
