Elizabeth and Joshua | Callanwolde Fine Arts Outdoor Wedding
While some of us meet Mr. Right in college, or post college others meet in their teen years. I've gotta say though- these two win the prize for growing up together, dating longer than anyone else I've ever met or photographed. They met in children's church in 4th grade. In the years while most boys are afraid of girls and their cooties Joshua spotted Elizabeth and his heart would never be the same. He was smitten. They talked about their futures together even before they were "allowed to date" when they turned 16. They attended different school so rather than passing notes in class they passed them at church. Pre-smart phones this was the way they stayed connected and their love grew. They embraced the rain showers, the clouds and made the most of their day- this day they'd finally become husband and wife. Finally it was here and there was nothing that could stand in the way of Elizabeth becoming Joshua's wife.
They exchanged their vows in the beautiful gardens of Callanwolde Fine Arts Center then danced the night away with their family and friends. It was such a blessing to be part of this story, a story that's been being written for so many years. To witness two families who were already close become in-laws was incredibly special. A huge shout out to Molly and Samantha for their assistance as well!
A huge congrats to the newly weds. I wish you the most in your lives ahead. Thank you for sharing your most special day with me. Xoxo

A sweet moment captured by Molly.
They read some of those old love notes during their engagement session (it was priceless), so it seemed fitting to get a picture of her handwritten vows.
Loving this portrait!
